New Backdrops
Hadn't ever paid attention to the main screen, loaded Guild Wars and it began downloading a new patch, went to get something to drink and eat real fast, came back and the UI had gone. Never having noticed the small Hide UI box I thought something had just crashed then moved the mouse, 'lo and behold it is back, then I saw the little box checked at the bottom.
I have always been looking for monitor backdrops from games to run through, Guild Wars has some particularly beautiful landscapes, ones which run at highest settings on a variety of machines.
My hope is to get some more backdrops out there, by quests or through the store if someone does not want to buy the expansion or run the quest (for free, which is fine too). Get us areas such as the Jade Sea and Petrified Forest (maybe a faction turn in or faction specific quests from the capitols), the early Cantha (the area for new characters, but gotten on the mainland, Pre-Ascalon (prophecies characters, but in post-seared ascalon), Kryta, and probably other locations specifically crafted to be a great backdrop.
